Paul T. Marciano, DPM, MS
Paul Marciano, DPM, is a graduate from the University of Rochester with a B.S. in Biology. He has a Master’s Degree in Natural Science from Roswell Park Cancer Institute at the State University of Buffalo in NY. He also graduated from the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. Dr. Marciano then completed a two-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot surgery in Houston, Texas and has since been practicing in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. One of the first practitioners to utilize the Shock Wave Therapy Treatment for heel pain, Dr. Marciano is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot Surgery, the American Board of Medical Specialists in Podiatry, and the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry & Podiatric Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and serves as a member of both the American and Texas Podiatric Medical Associations. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing soccer, basketball, and golf.
Gregory J. Amelung, DPM
Greg Amelung, DPM, began his education at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, and completed his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate Degree at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. He completed a one-year medical internship at North Chicago Veteran's Administration Hospital followed by a two-year surgical residency with the Resurrection Health Care Hospital System in Chicago, IL. Dr. Amelung completed his training with a one-year fellowship at Central Oklahoma Foot and Ankle Centers, associated with the Oklahoma Podiatric Residency Training Program, specializing in complicated reconstructive and traumatic surgery of the foot and ankle. Following his fellowship, he continued on as a surgical teaching attending at the residency program for two years. Looking for new opportunities, he joined Academy Foot and Ankle Specialists where he practices all aspects of foot and ankle care. Dr. Amelung believes that his extensive training will help provide many treatment options for all his patients. He believes that patient education and good communication is the key for successful care. Dr. Amelung has been declared a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons by becoming board certified in forefoot, and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery. He is married and a proud father of two boys. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Scott Floyd, DPM
Scott Floyd, DPM, is a board-qualified podiatrist and wound care specialist at Academy Foot & Ankle Specialists in the DFW metroplex, TX. Dr. Floyd specializes in diabetic wound care and ulcer care. He has comprehensive training in all aspects of podiatry, including elective and non-elective foot surgery. After graduating from Houston Baptist University, in Houston, TX, with a Bachelor of Science in biology, Dr. Floyd earned his medical degree at Kent State University College of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. He later continued his training with a three-year medical and surgical residency with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Salem, VA. Since finishing his residency, Dr. Floyd has trained extensively in complex foot trauma, lower extremity sports medicine, and lower extremity diabetic surgical correction. In addition to his education and training, Dr. Floyd received advanced training and treated patients at the Foot and Ankle Clinic of the Virginias in Blacksburg, VA. He also worked in the orthopedic surgical department at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA, where he focused on surgical and nonsurgical foot care. Dr. Floyd is extremely passionate about providing the best possible individualized care to his patients. When he is not working with patients, Dr. Floyd enjoys spending time with his family, and frequently participating in church activities.
Dan Pierini, DPM
Dan Pierini, DPM, grew up in the beach cities of Southern California, where he excelled as a multi-sport athlete and professional musician. With a scientist mother and an athletic director father, Dr. Pierini predictably found a passion for sports medicine and physical training. While working as a personal trainer, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Exercise and his pre-med education at California State University in Fullerton, CA. From there, he received his Podiatric Medical Degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA., where he was voted into several leadership positions by his classmates. Dr. Pierini then completed his 3-year surgical residency training at Reading Hospital in West Reading, PA. As Chief Resident, he earned numerous awards and accolades in high-quality patient care. He is an ABPM Board-Qualified Foot and Ankle Surgeon practicing full-scope podiatric medicine. Dr. Pierini enjoys being involved in his church community, playing drums, recreational sports, and spending time with his family.
Jeremy Brouillette, DPM
Jeremy Brouillette , DPM is a board qualified foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Brouillette graduated from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2014. He then completed his forefoot and rearfoot certified surgical residency at the Veterans’ Hospital in Salem, Virginia. Dr. Brouillette has had specialized training on all the newest leading foot and ankle techniques, as well as unique training in other areas such as wound care, diabetic limb salvage, nerve releases, and alternative conservative treatments for a host of ailments. He currently holds an affiliation with the Veterans’ Hospital in Salem to continue education and training for residents in our profession.
Daniel Cairns, DPM
Daniel Cairns, DPM is a board certified podiatrist. Originally from Vero Beach, FL, Dr. Cairns graduated from Florida State University, before earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, IL. He completed his 3 year surgical residency training in Miami, FL before relocating to the Dallas Fort Worth area in 2015. Before joining Academy Foot & Ankle, he was in solo private practice for 8 years here in the DFW area. Outside the clinic, Dr. Cairns is all about family time with his wife and four kids, while juggling their youth sports schedules and hitting the field himself for some competitive adult softball. He is also an active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Fahad Aslam, DPM
Fahad Aslam, DPM is an ABFAS board-qualified passionate podiatrist dedicated to delivering exceptional care to his patients. A Chicago native, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago before pursuing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University. Following his education, Dr. Aslam completed his residency at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, where he honed his skills in podiatric medicine and surgery.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Aslam enjoys an active lifestyle that includes hiking, working out, and playing tennis. He is an avid sports fan and loves exploring diverse cuisines, always eager to try new dishes. Most importantly, he values spending quality time with family and friends, fostering deep connections in his community. With a compassionate approach to patient care, Dr. Aslam is committed to helping his patients achieve healthier, more fulfilling lives.
